Beautiful Swiss bossa nova track from 1972. One on side it's Dixieland jazz representing Switzerland from Raymond Droz and on the other bossa nova from the Pierre Cavalli orchestra. The sleeve notes talk about the differences in culture and how with advancing technology the world is becoming a smaller place so they decided to showcase both cultures. According to Sonorama this is a promo LP for Swissair (that makes sense as there's a Swiss DC-10 on the cover) Sonorama have recently released a CD and LP of remastered work by Cavalli so if you like this definitely check it out. Also it's worth mentioning the track is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Possarinhos due to a spelling error on the liner notes. Passarinhos in Portuguese translates as \"birds\" which makes sense considering the track.
