Maher Shalal Hash Baz is a band from Tokyo, Japan, formed by the couple Tori Kudo and Reiko Kudo; and Hiroo Nakazaki, as well as other occasional artists like Ikuro Takahashi, Shinji Shibayama or Masami Shinoda. Their name comes from a verse in the Book of Isaiah that translates roughly to \"Hurrying to the spoil, he has made haste to the plunder\".



Tracks 1 to 7 and 11 were recorded at Meiji University, Tokyo, and tracks 8 to 10 were recorded at Goodman coffee shop in Ogikubo, Tokyo.
