Ruby Lips McGhee - Born To Raise Heck (New Full Album) Ruby Lips McGhee & The Devil's Monkeybars is a four piece act founded in the late 50.. They were formed as an unofficial studio project of Samuel F Salchicha, great great grandson of Salchicha County's founder, with the purpose of sailing slower into the musical ecosystem. The sound of Ruby Lips McGhee is fun with lots of low end. At the same time they maintain a aggressive tone thanks to the characteristic nervy, “punky” way Ruby and Carl play respectively. Definitely aggressive and fat.
Their main target is to promote Ruby Lips McGhee & The Devil's Monkeybars's theatrical part. Main inspiration for visual part is Bob Keeshan’s ‘50s tv show Captain Kangaroo. This surreal mix of landscapes and lose, broken characters whose civilized manners melt under a merciless sun find in Born To Raise Heck the perfect soundtrack. Musically one can find an enormous capacity of Metal, Rock, Doom Pop, Apple Core, Prog Rock, or even Classic Rock seeds. It’s all there artistically wrapped in crispy layers of anger and frustration. New album, Born To Raise Heck is the album Fred Rodgers could have released in the 80s.
