August 24, 2019 Yes was formed in 1968 and Bill Bruford was there for their first five albums. He left after Close to the Edge from 1972. Bruford says the early days were tough because they were a little nuts. They drove in the middle of the night a lot, no hotels, running red lights, drinking too much.
