This is the second of three compilation albums put out by New York record company, Catch Em Records. The premise of these compilations was to show off all the unsigned rock/metal acts of the New York/Long Island area. For a long time, I have been searching high and low for this album and at long last, I have finally obtained a copy. It was very pricey, but it was worth it.
The Partners in Crime track, \"Mighty Fine Do or Die\" was taken from the group's album, \"Dangerous Romances\". Rockett 88 and The Snap also had tracks on City Tracks Vol. 3, released the same year.
Apparently, Catch Em Records were to release an EP from the You Never No band that appears on this album, but the company folded before the EP could see the light of day. Also, according to the back of this album, all royalties from the track, \"Just Remember\" were to be donated to the Vietnam Veterans of America. I'm assuming that song was a charity single in the same vein as Band Aid or USA for Africa.
