I actually used to play Battlefield 1943 quite a bit back when it was out. I used to leave the main menu on to hear the theme because it was just so good, so when my request patron asked I cover this theme, I was really excited!
I wanted the song to capture that vibe of just soldiers marching off to war, to really get that grand and epic feeling it gives off. I'm not that great at arranging orchestra, but it's something I want to get better at, so I gave it another shot, and hopefully you all like it.
For the video, I wanted the look of old war footage, and to be honest I could've done it better. I was rushing to leave enough time for my first VG Idol cover at the end of the month, and I ended up putting off this video for far too long. I hope you guys are alright with that, I'll do better next time.
