Eigengrau is the color you see when you close your eyes.
In this spirit, to me, the album describes the process of introspection and self-reflection. From the moment I decided to make an album, I wanted it to tell a story in its entirety, rather than to be single tracks. Therefore, after I finished recording all songs, I created an audio track which contains all songs of the album back to back.
When I listen to the album this is my preferred way to do so.
