VA - Future Horizons - The Lanquidity EP (compiled by Robin Triskele) released on 2017-07-28 by Liquid Sound Design - LSD102. Liquid Sound Design (LSD) launches a brand new series — Future Horizons — designed to delve into the plethora of incredible new music surrounding us. Curated by label manager Robin Triskele, Future Horizons aims to celebrate the fresh sounds from friends of the legendary label, as well as bringing undiscovered artists into the LSD family fold.



The Lanquidity EP kicks off with one of psy chill’s best kept secrets, Flux Natura, whose gorgeously dreamy ‘Same Heart’ sets the scene for a collection of lush melodies that beautifully mix the organic with the electronic. Saafi Brothers’ ‘Dub Places’ ramps it up a notch and as the name suggests takes us on dubbier trip, a carefully crafted atmospheric journey that is far from languid. Next up, Globular’s Special Trip Remix of Antam Yar’s ‘Voyage’ continues the fluid funk, a deliciously tribal jaunt into the psychedelic realms of downtempo. ‘Dreamcatcher’ is a signature sunshine-kissed Kukan Dub Lagan track, a collaboration with Gumi that raises the tempo and the spirit. Finally, TSP’s ‘DeMeTrius’ takes us on a trippier escapade, Tor.Ma in Dub’s twisted psychedelic stamp merging perfectly with IshDub’s melodic dubby sounds to end this superbly curated collection on a properly grounding old school roots tip.
