Teenage angst was a turbo power pop band from Athens Greece formed in the spring of 1995. In 1998 they released their debut album \"When your life meets you\" in collaboration with Hitch-hyke records and until 2001, they opened for bands such as NOFX, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros and Chokebore. The group disbanded around 2002 and later on two of its original members (Giordas bros) formed the alternative rock band Sun, rain in life. Due to Dimitris Giordas being the sole composer of the \"When your life meets you\" songs, Sun, rain in life embrace the Teenage angst legacy as an undivided part of their discography. Thus this upload of the whole album, to honor and celebrate our somewhat naive, blissful yet vigorous and hopeful youth!
\"When your life meets you\" finds salvation in its own title. Mistakes such as bad grammar, raw voices and false notes framed by power pop melodies dressed in heavy guitars is what gives this album its unique character. A child that refuses to grow up the way the world dictates it, and tries desperately to retain its innocence and find its own way in life. An honest album reflecting its composer as he truly was back in the day, exposing his flaws and strengths, wishing to make peace with his own self by caring, accepting and loving who he is.
