Strangely, despite what the name of the album might suggest, this is not really a collaboration between the two musicians, instead, each one has his own set of tracks on the same album.
This is a Bossa Nova album, and Antonio Carlos Jobim made all of the arrangements for João Gilberto, and also a few for the flautist Herbie Mann.
