CORP 86. With a style strongly marked by the pop scene of the 80s, it proposes with its sound a fresh and renewed style and with great expectations of being promoted as an emerging band of the synth pop style.
It finds its influences mainly in the 80¨s, but with current sounds and aesthetics. His songs refer us to the nostalgia of the 80 'and thereby demonstrate how important it is to rescue the essence of the decade. He made different presentations in different cities with very good acceptance on the scene and with the aim of projecting new directions to continue spreading his proposal.
The band independently released two albums and several singles.
His first album \"NEXT IN LINE\" (instrumental) was released in 2019, releasing a number of opportunities from it which led CORP 86 to sign with the independent Buenos Aires label CERO UNO RECORDS who nuclines different bands of the pop style Argentinian.
Both his single \"VHS DREAMS\" and \"NO ERES MAS\" published on all digital platforms generated high expectations that reached a greater number of followers. Different bands of the electro pop genre in Spanish echoed the great expectations generated by CORP. 86 actively participating in social networks (Facebook, YouTube) where he disseminates most of his work.
CORP. 86 released their first video clip of the song “NO ERES MAS“ on their official YOUTUBE channel on October 19, 2019 with very good acceptance on the networks, so the song was also released on the label's SUMMER RAYS compilation Russian NEON RETRO WAVE participating with great exponents of the world Synthwave genre.
CORP 86's second album is called “MORINIG HOPE” an album that includes several national and international guest artists. Songs like “Flying High”, The adventure ”with Flavio Chazarreta and“ True Love ”with Chelsea Owen from Oceanside 85 mixed by the mixing engineer Till Wild, a renowned musician who worked with great synthwave exponents.
To highlight CORP 86, it was also selected by \"Synthwave Argentina\" in the playlist of \"The best of 2019\" on Spotify with the song \"VHS DREAMS\". Participating with the best of the Argentine scene. The band released his second official video clip of the single \"The adventure\" under the direction of Cristian Toro \"Deja vu noir\" (Chile) also released two singles simultaneously. \"The adventure\" and \"Memories while driving\" with Sofia González \".
CORP 86 prepared their tour of Buenos Aires for the month of April 2020 where they were going to perform in different places in the city but due to the pandemic it had to be rescheduled. This allowed Corp 86 to work from home on new proposals leading to the first “Live Session” at Artefonic Estudio under the direction of Pablo Caro. This audiovisual work includes three songs from the band's repertoire interpreted by Flavio Chazarreta, achieving an even more compact sound.
Another of the conquests achieved is their acceptance in the international context, taking their music to different levels and styles. For this opportunity, the Mexican DJ Gabrielle AG worked on a remix of the song “True Love” composed jointly with the Canadian band Oceanside 85 in the best style. progressive vocals the dj managed to capture an exquisite remix of the aforementioned song ..
Currently the band signed a contract with the Italian label RETRO REVERB RECORDS where they re-released the single of the song “MORNING HOPE” available in almost all music stores.
Today CORP 86 ventures into this exciting freedom to show nostalgic sensations that only awaken in our imagination the decade of excellence that is undoubtedly that of the 80s, such as movies, video games, images, sounds and those songs that remain in our memory, CORP. 86 today reminds us.
