Walter Smith likes brothers. First he sang co-lead for the Admirations with the 3 Childs brothers on One-derful Records, then hooked up with these guys, the Donaldsons. First they recorded as Walter & the Admirations, then had to switch names for obvious legal reasons. The Admirations were still out there. Andre Williams gave them their name and produced these sides for Uni, and i might add the tracks he did with the Green Berets were some of the sweetest Soul sounds he produced. From 1970. this record followed '(Lord) Send Me Somebody', a good sized hit from the year before. Pookie loves this record, and it's no surprise it was written by Billy Butler. Quality stuff here. Enjoy Walter, Cliff Frazier, and the Donaldsons, Keith, David, and Brad. They are BAD!!! A Universal Music Group Recording.
