This band was formed by Darrell Fetty (Hammond organ and vocals), Danny Ward (guitar), Yancey Burns (bass and vocals) and Hale Talbot (drums) in Huntington, WV in 1966. They started to play typical R&B, then they began to experiment and play psychedelic music. They also had a light show. Plato Records was founded by a pharmacist named Bob Ullom and a music store owner, Pat Wisman. The band was signed on the label and they recorded at King Studios, in Cincinnati, OH. \"I Can't Take It\"/\"Think About Me\" was issued in February, 1968. Later Ward left the band and Burns switched to guitar, so Fetty added a Fender Bass Keyboard. Talbot also decided to leave and Jim Frazier replaced him. \"I Can't Take It\" features a simple but amazing fuzzed guitar riff beside the distinctive and cool B-3 sound. The flip is softier than the A-Side. A-Side was written by Fetty and Burns, B-Side is credited to Fetty.
