During the enforced inactivity of lockdown, I couldn't help feeling that we're all meant to live for so much more than social distancing and face-masks - of course they're necessary - but we all long for a time somewhen in the future that we can live for more again... hopefully we can (re)discover the important things in life during this time and focus once more on those.
Recorded in the UK and New Zealand during lockdown 2020 - a somewhat lighter version of Switchfoot's Meant To Live from 2003, featuring clarinet from Chris Horn. This was started right at the start of COVID-19 lockdown in March, but languished for a while during the craziness and then Chris joined in in August to help me finish it - thanks Chris!
