One of the best kept secrets of UK pop originating from the 60's - Honeybus are simply great and much more than \"I can't let Maggie go\". This is a later number written by genius Colin Hare. The flip is a Pete Dello composition, not really reaching the same hights as this one musically, but still remains a contender for a fture post. This 45 was a one off between their contract with Deram and Warner Brothers. With WB they recorded a 45 as well as an LP - unfortunatelly the LP was withdrawn and only exists as a test pressing in original format. I know it has already been posted, but it's so beautiful it doesn't matter and now you get to see the label.
If you collect this kind of stuff on 45 - drop me a line as I quite often have similar records or spares for trade etc... If you played in the band or know a band member - please let me know. If you have the record at home and it's nothing you need to keep - please let me know. Thanks!
