The B Side is by far the better know and was endlessly played on Children's Favourites whereas the A Side was quickly forgotten and didn't chart. Tery Scott had a schoolboy character as part of his act in the 50s and 60s and went on to use the same character again in the 70s for a series of adverts for Curly Wurly chocolate-toffee bars.
