So I revamped my personal best songs. I know I said I'd be revamping ALL of my old stuff, but it quickly became apparent when I started working that many of my older songs aren't ones I want to continue focusing on. They just got different vibes. For this, I combined all the songs I found vocally similar enough to be in one album, and songs that are, lyrically, on the same wavelength.
I also want to explain what's going on right now. There's another artist who has the name Laureli, and she's got it trademarked. That's why I changed my artist name; no shade on her though, she was on her game better than I was. When you change your name on Distrokid, and via other distributers, they don't allow you to re-upload music that's already been posted through another name. That's the issue I'm facing right now, so it's a whole thing I'm figuring out. I'm hoping when I try and upload this album to Distrokid under Laureli Amadeus, they won't get my ass for supposedly \"copying\" my other profile, like they have with By the Wayside. If I can't upload this album onto platforms like Spotify or iTunes, I really hope you guys aren't discouraged. But I get it if you are. All of my music is up on my Soundcloud account and here on Youtube, so you'll still be able to listen to it! I know it's probably irritating having my music just disappear off your playlists. Truly I wish this wasn't so tedious.
