Knotweed Records and Decision Making Theory records, based in Chamonix Mont Blanc, France, present a terrific brand new 4 track 12\" EP (also available on Digital) by the much underrated and Mattias Fridell in a collaboration with his friend, Alexander Johnson. The 24th release is a scintillating DJ-friendly \"Färden EP\" that really should be energising ravers globally its impact has been tamed by lockdowns, curfews and economic depression. Hence, it is even more important to support the creators of our entertainment by buying their records to supplement their minimal margins. Music may be more accessible thanks to to digital downloads but adding flexibility by marginalising the cost of individual tracks to €1.12 / $1.36/0.99GBP does not benefit the artist unless sales exceed 10,000 and that is rare for underground Techno. Digital download retailers, if they had any proclivity in supporting underground music, should not be selling individual tracks but the entire EP or LP.
