Candies was a trio from Italy, formed by multi-instrumentalist Giulio Calvino, bassist/keyboardist Mauro Freddi and drummer Mauro Pierantoni. this is their debut album, in which they're joined by several guests musicians.

on this record they present a very interesting blend of post rock, noise rock, math rock and some punk elements, heavily focused on experimentation and with a huge dynamic range. think Slint meets Ativin meets Mercury Program.



after *years* of listening to this masterpiece in rather poor quality, I was able to get my hands on an actual CD, so at long last here it is, in its full FLAC glory.
