Elektra EKL-247. The Songs of Fred Engleberg. I imagine Fred was not happy when he was first shown his album cover and realized Elektra had misspelled his name. His previous album was \"The Smoke Dreams of Fred Engelberg\". It was more of a cosmic, Beatnik spoken word album. It's interesting for what it is but it doesn't measure up to this album. Fred was a bit of a mysterious figure and disappeared after this album was released.
