Boy, does this brings back memories. \"L.A. Law,\" an NBC-TV legal drama that ran from 1986 to 1994, was once a terrific spur for water-cooler conversations. Created by Steven Bochco, it made good use of a great ensemble cast (Susan Dey, Corbin Bernsen, Michelle Greene, Michael Tucker, and Richard Dysart being my favorite regulars) and boasted parallel story lines as well as some terrific off-the-wall humor.
