Eddie Fontaine (aka Eddie Reardon) as well as been a singer, was a well known television actor in the 60s and 70s. He recorded for over half a dozen labels in his career and along with his 'Nothin' Shakin', this must be his best ever song. It was performed in the movie 'The Girl Can't Help It' as you know and it still sounds great over 50 years later. Note the credits on the label From the motion picture ''Teenage Rebel'' This was a infact a another teen flick from 56 which starred Ginger Rodgers. The Treniers performed a song called 'Cool It Baby' in that film. It had nothing to do with Mr Fontaine. What a stupid mistake to make !
