My older sister went to the University of Michigan from '92 to '96 and met a lot of amazing, creative people that she'd occasionally introduce to me. One of her friends was Neil, who was a talented and hilarious singer/songwriter. He released this cassette in '96 when I was 15 and my sister gave me a copy. Growing up on a dirt road in the small, rural town of Willis, Michigan I had not heard much independent music before getting it, let alone something as hysterically funny, while still melodic and catchy, as this. Now in 2017 I couldn't find Neil's music or any trace of it online, so I decided to rip the cassette and upload it myself.
