One of those tunes that proved so popular, Al Bowlly recorded it four times, with four different bands and within a space of just four months.
Side one was under the leadership of Ray Noble and was recorded 11th June, 1931, and also features The Three Ginx.
Side two was recorded 31st July, 1931, and also features Sid Buckman and Joe Ferrie.
Side three was recorded in late August, 1931.
Side four was recorded in September, 1931, and as you can hear, it is an identical arrangement of side three, however some of the words have been omitted giving that it is on Edison Bell's 8\" Radio label, therefore making it shorter than the previous 10\" Edison Bell Winner side with Sid Phillips. The leader on this final side, is Harry Hudson. Incidentally, this is the reverse side of my previous upload, Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams.
