The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has added 37 surveillance cameras to the Las Vegas Strip to catch criminalas and deter crime. The cameras, funded by a grant, were recommended by Clark County's Resort Corridor Work Group as part of an effort to improve safety and the visitor experience on the world's most popular street. The Las Vegas Strip is located in unincorporated Clark County and not in any city.
