My name is Maison Haffie, Otherwise known as HOUSE.
I create and produce social media content as well as perform my art forms professionally well maintaining MentalHouse Records and MaiMaiProductions. This album holds a great deal of emotion behind it. I have struggled with mental health for as long as I can remember and addiction for the last eight years of my life. Though, I am still standing. Sober and more sure of myself then I have ever been. I now know what it feels like to almost lose everything, To hit rock bottom and to feel the pain yet ecstasy of climbing your way back to the top,
I have come to find that life truly is what you make it, No one is stopping you but yourself, You are the only person that can make a real change in your own life, People will truly try to hurt you purely because they can, But it’s up to you whether or not you let them, I have learned what it means to lose your mind then find your way back to reality, In other words, To fall down that “Rabbit Hole” then have to claw your way back out. I have come to find that I am stronger then I could have ever imagined,
That there is a higher power far beyond our understanding, And your past truly does not define you. It is never too late, To make it a great day, No matter your life circumstances. I have learned love is far more powerful than hate, And nothing is more important than those you consider family. I now understand that everything you are and ever could be can be taken away from you at any moment,
So live every day like it is your last, Because it really might be. It is hard to admit, But 2019 almost put me in a grave or worse, But it seems 2020 still has hope. I encourage you to never give up on your dreams. To smile when it’s hard, Because life is hard, But your smile might be what another needs to make it threw their day, And in my eyes, That makes every day worth living for.
Remember, You are beautiful, loved, and worth it. You really are 1 in 400Trillion. So, Shine on you crazy diamond.
