Recorded on the 9th March 1941 at WBAP Studios, Blackstone Hotel, Fort Worth TX and released on OKeh {06396}. This track and line-up of The Hi-Flyers displays the incredible musicianship of the band, and the great soloing of individual members. It includes Landon Beaver on piano, Sheldon Bennett supplying vocal and electric guitar and Darrell Kirkpatrick on the accordion. The flip side is 'Juke Box Jump', a version of which was recorded eight years later in 1949 by Andrew Schroder {steel guitar} as 'Prairie Dog Ramble' , released on Ace {101} under the name 'Andy Schroder & His Western Band'. The picture at 1.10 shows Buster Ferguson {standing} on guitar and Andrew Schroder on steel guitar, during a short stint with 'Cecil Browers Cowboy Band' aka 'The Kilocycle Cowboys'.
