Here's my video game saxophone cover of Abandoned Ship from Pokmon R/S/E with Medllix! I'm Sab and I love saxophone and video games, so now I make covers that combine two of my favorite things!

This is one of my favorite songs from the Pokmon R/S/E OST! It was meant to be a woodwind cover haha! I always love working with Brooke! It's so much fun to mix together the woodwinds and create really cool colors and sounds!

It's fun to work with the different textures and gives more opportunity to learn about chamber writing!

The actual Abandoned Ship is a creepy area, but the music isn't super creepy! I wanted to make it a bit creepier haha! I added a little intro with sustained chords, but also added an effect to make it sound like it's underwater since you dive around to explore the Abandoned Ship!

I think in ORAS, the Abandoned Ship is a lot creepier because there's a legendary Pokmon you can get there, I think.

This track also reminds me of Sealed Chamber from RSE, which is another great song!

I'm glad I got to work with Brooke again and combine the woodwind powers!
