From the album,'Sly, Slick, and the Wicked' , 1970. Pookie's favorite from this disc that was one of the best Soul albums of that time. Lowrell and Fred Simon, Larry Brownlee, and Jesse Dean made up the Lost Generation. Brownlee had been in the C.O.D.'s, And Lowrell in the LaVondells. Masterful production from the Chi-Lite's Eugene Record. Another great Chicago Soul ballad.
