I sat in my attic for an entire day and recorded this. I'm not sure what it is (a weird mix between poetry, song, and rapping), and I know it's not perfect, but it's a start, and that has more meaning. The cover of this weird EP thing is my house. The picture was taken in our backyard. This house is my childhood home.
It's where I grew up, where I played, where I walked, and where I stared up at the stars. It means childhood and innocence and comfort and strength. It means everything that I put into this album. And so Neo Fight is about the transition from kid to adult. It’s about being new to something, not knowing what to do, and figuring it out as you go. It’s a play on the word Neophyte: Someone who is a beginner at something. And I am a beginner at life. And we're all trying to fight this new fight, this idea that you can't have what you wanted as a kid and that you have to settle.

It’s about growing up, about remembering certain times, dealing with certain pains from the past. It's about me and my journey but it's also about you and yours. Thank you if you take the time to listen. Any feedback would be incredible. Thank you so much. \/\/
