Originally slated to be released on Bullet Records, but the label went out of business. The album was recorded in 1984, but not released until 1986. Drummer Brett Robertson left immediately after his drum tracks were recorded, which is why he wasn't credited in the liner notes.

A bootleg CD was released with bonus tracks from the unreleased album called While the Flames Still Burn.
