Barbra was currently up on top of the world starring in the Broadway smash “Funny Girl,” but this follow-up single release to her “People” hit was really just a title exploitation as it was never included in the stage production (though it was composed by the show’s songwriting team). The “Funny Girl” song which she performed in the later movie version was a different tune.
