So this is a strange one, about two-ish weeks ago, my girlfriend and I were on a date, and we went into my local thrift shop. While she was browsing for cheap groovy jewelry, my eyes wandered to the CD shelf. I tried looking for the three most unique CDs (it was a 3 for $5 deal), and found this in a slipcase. It's by a one 'Rhyme Minista'. The discs I found ranged from 2015 - 2017, and it even has an attached label (Coloring Book Productions).
It's this weird Lo-Fi rap and hip hop with a voice that's obviously trying to sound like MF Doom. But, the weird part is that despite this referenced back catalog and record label, I can find NOTHING online about the guy or the label! At all! It's a total enigma, and while I'm not so into the tunage, these have fascinated me to no end for the past week! I can surmise from the booklet that he's from Lindy like myself, but that's about all!
If any of you have any info, or Rhyme Minista himself sees this, please email me at Brainybard@yahoo.com!
The art direction on all his CDs is very nice! Very stylish collage style stuff with some nice writing and art.
