[wreath] is a Warsaw-based prog rock band that came to life as a solo project of Tomasz Kaleczyc in 2003. Since 2008 it has transformed into a regular ensemble that smoothly mixes elements of prog rock, metal, grunge and alternative.
\"Enigma\" is a strange but very beautiful debut album from [wreath] recorded singlehandedly by Tomasz Kaleczyc. It contains a huge variety of styles mixed into melancholic songs. Everything from metal through grunge and weird progressive rock up to acoustic folk, trip hop and ambient. Somewhere between Katatonia and Massive Attack. Yet somehow the album itself feels very coherent and offers you a journey into the world where mundane becomes eerie and magical.
