Mermaid were a Danish rock band featuring sax player Karsten Vogel of Burnin' Red Ivanhoe and Secret Oyster. The first 4 tracks presented here are from the studio, and show Mermaid to be a pretty dull and straight rock band honestly. But the live tracks are considerably better. Here Mermaid are in blues / psych / jazz jam mode, and is quite a bit more kinetic. Unfortunately the sound is bootleg quality, but it's clear enough to give you an idea. Worth checking out.
