Pink Floyd - The Wall (Full Album, Acoustic Cover)
This is my acoustic cover of the album Pink Floyd \"The Wall\". I performed and recorded all the instruments, and vocals. I also created or recorded all background effects (except for the wall crashing down at the end). Very little effects were used during mixing including only echo, fades and volume. No pitch change/correction or EQ was used. This was a somewhat ambitious exercise at working with minimal equipment using only what I had at hand in my home. The video contains an initial ~5 min monologue explaining more about the recording of the music. I did shorten some of the songs to make this project easier, and although in the monologue I mention not including one track, in fact there are two that I did not cover. As far as reproducing Gilmour's lead guitar solos, I did cover them accurately at least for the shorter ones. For the longer solos, I took creative liberty to perform my own versions. Mainly this was because as mention above, I shortened some songs. In doing so, I could not actually perform his solos note for note in those cases.
