Not much of Elton John here, but it is well documented that Elton (Reg Dwight) was among the backup singers in this session with The Scaffold. The Scaffold were a English music & comedy trio from Liverpool, consisting of John Gorman, Roger McGough & Mike McGear (Paul McCartney's brother). In the late 60s and early 70s Reg Dwight (Elton John) did a lot of work as a session musician, both vocals and piano. Gin Gan Goolie was originally a scouting song in the UK. This recording was released on Parlophone Records ©1969.
