After my grandmother passed away in 2019, I lost all motivation to work on & release music. I took several months to recover, reflect, and to cherish the memories I had of my grandmother when they would be at their strongest & most distinct. After this brief period of time I began easing back into pursuing my musical passion. While I worked on my normal albums and singles I would secretly hold this album as my main artistic focus behind the scenes, painstakingly working on each track day by day to get each track exactly the way I wanted it. Normally I would never release a fully instrumental project, but vocals simply can not directly describe what i wanted to project in this body of work. This album does not portray my grandmother as a person. An album designed to do that could not be successfully made. Instead, it represents her life through my eyes, and the memories I shared with her leading up to present day. Each song represents an individual memory I was lucky enough to share with her, from my birth to her untimely passing. Every single note and texture has depth and meaning behind it. You will not hear a single meaningless sound throughout this entire record. The memories and their specific details are only between me and her, but their musical representations are for anybody to interpret. This album took two years to craft together, and originally featured over 48 hours of material, which was cut down to roughly 10 hours. This music is not designed for leisure or enjoyment, but for understanding. You will not hear this music on the radio, and you will not add this to your trap playlist, but I assure you that if you have the free time and the attention span, this project will be worth your energy. This album is only intended to be played all the way through, front to back, with no skips. If you do not have the time for that, I encourage you to wait until you do. Any emotion or feeling evoked by this record is exclusive to you and your individual reaction towards it. Me and my grandmother were very close, and we both loved Freddy Mercury with a strong and undying passion, so I will leave this bit off with a small quote of his.

\"My soul has painted like the wings of butterflies,

Fairy tales of yesterday will grow but never die,

I can fly, my friends…\" - Freddy Mercury
