It's not surprising to me that Jones was chosen to record this most iconic dance of the 1920's, such was his prolific output up until this time. This is as good a version a the Knickerbocker's on Columbia and I frankly like it better than Whiteman's Victor, but at least as well at Arthur Gibbs and His Gang's.
