Back From Obscurity #5: Albums like this make me wish I was around in the 70βs. Giancarlo Barigozzi is the saxophone and flute playing leader of this dreamy theme project, as well as lead sound engineer. This is a great situation for lovers of the low end; every song has a well defined and warm bassline that was crafted and mixed in Barigozziβs high tech studio in Milan. Even though almost every track features complex solos from multiple instruments, all 47 minutes come across as effortless and breezy as a sunny day on the coast of Italy. A psychedelic mixture of old western tunes with a bluesy Italian twist make this a truly special record, one that can be listened to from beginning to end without ever wanting to press skip.
