The Eternal Flaming Prismatic Godhead as a concept is the artist's idea of creation/existence/god, removed from the western conceptions of religion and possibly more inline with gnostic beliefs of experiencing a pinch of that within yourself. The album is an attempt to capture that within the confines of sound. Dayglow Exploding Super Infinite has always been about using the noise aesthetic as something joyful and beautiful rather than the tired tropes of nihilism and negative emotions.
The album offers the user a glimpse, or a sense or taste of that intensity of existence, that would make the listener think about the overwhelming beauty of life in all its myriad prismatic ways. The track titles address the energy of existence in each moment, all of reality is the change as energy flows from one place to another, everything is fire, and when you notice all of time is always \"now\". Musically it is created using entirely analogue gear, guitars, keyboards, vocals, as full live takes over each other.
The visceral, incendiary artwork for the album was created by illustrator Ana-Maria Terr. Being an artist, musician and founder of Halfmeltedbrain Records, Ceremonial Laptop have collaborated with Ana-Maria on a number of different releases and concerts. With this history in mind we could think of no one better to create the visual of The Eternal Flaming Prismatic Godhead.
