From The European land of Coronavirus: Milan, already with a whole decade on their backs, this Italian quartet joins musicians with established reputations on their local scene. Fans of the same revival that inspired Aura Noir to pick up instruments and pay homage to the European thrash pioneers, Extirpation also go straight to the primordial source for their influences, and in records such as ?Wings Of Decadence? or ?A Damnation's Stairway To The Altar Of Failure?, from 2015 and 2019 respectively, regurgitate a frenetic kind of metal, spiced up by an obscure evil feeling, throwing us back to a time when thrash and black metal were still very mixed up in each other.
