This video is my submission for the InsaneInTheRain Jazz Challenge 2 (2017). Ive just recently finished playing P5 and all of Meguros music throughout the game was completely infectious, but none moreso than the Palace infiltration music Life Will Change. I had thought the tune was well-suited for being rendered with this sort of instrumentation, so when Carlos announced his jazz challenge, I was excited--it gave me the perfect opportunity to take a crack at this piece. I bombarded the arrangement with punchy walls of sound, cool melody tradeoffs, fat chords, and some nifty piano syncopation; between the powerful guitar and bass from Ro, smooth sax runs from muta1206, the crispy trombone from dannymusic, and the punchy trumpet from Marc, the arrangement really came alive! I cant thank them enough for setting aside time to perform for me. I hope you enjoy the tune!
