Originally formed in 2008 by brothers, Alex and Esteban Nambo, they quickly recruited their cousin, Jesus Pacheco to play bass, and Andrew Bonczkowski to play drums. With the core group of musicians in place, Achilles was born. Throughout the years, Achilles has gone through numerous lineup changes, as each member pursued different musical careers, but all the while still keeping Achilles alive. The band also rotated between multiple singers over this period of time.
In the summer of 2016, the original members; Alex, Esteban, Jesus, and Andrew, recruited singer, Rob Ochoa, to round out their lineup. Based out of the Chicagoland area, Achilles is a rock band which combines elements ranging from; classic rock, hard rock, grunge, and metal in order to create a unique sound, striving to be unlike anything you've ever heard.
