When I Fall In Love (Young-Heyman) by The Lettermen, orchestra conducted by Jimmie Haskell, produced by Nick Venet
Recorded by scores of artists since this Victor Young-Edward Heyman ballad was introduced in the 1952 war film “One Minute To Zero,” “When I Fall In Love” made its first appearance as a top-10 record hit in early 1962 with this Lettermen follow-up release to “The Way You Look Tonight.” Note that stereo issues of “When I Fall In Love” have a rather differently-balanced mix, initially evident in the opening passage where the prominent piano is pushed well back.
