It was a shame Atlain hadn't made a big impact on the scene. They created two technically well-made full-length albums while working with other German bands such as Rage, Noisehunter or Accept. Nobody could ignore it, in particular the last song \"G.O.E.\" was heavily influenced by the relatively successful group of Udo Dirkschneider and Wolf Hoffmann. Just pay attention to the soloist's accent during the verses and compare it to Dirkschneider's wording in Balls to the Wall. Common to all the songs was a very solid riff and a keen sense of just the right amount of melodic elements.
Heavy and / or speed metal lovers will enjoy this early German metal document.
