Überspielung & Bearbeitung einer 25cm-Schellackplatte aus eigener Sammlung

Zwischen 1940 und 1943 veröffentlichte die DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON in zwei Serien Aufnahmen der italienischen Marken CETRA und FONIT. Ob im Gegenzug deutsche Aufnahmen in Italien herausgegeben wurden, ist mir nicht bekannt. Hier hören wir eine Matrize der italienischen Firma FONIT mit Original-Nummer im Spiegel.

Die Aufnahme hat mit maximal 4,5 Khz einen sehr flachen Frequenzgang und entspricht damit nicht dem Standard der Zeit.

Horst H. Lange listet den Titel mit fehlerhafter Matrizennummer und datiert auf Juni 1939. Bruyninckx datiert mx. 73821 mit September 1940. Vermutlich stammt "Virtuose Improvisationen" dann vom Herbst 1940. Die Platte war noch im Jahreskatalog 1943 der DEUTSCHEN GRAMMOPHON enthalten.

Between 1940 and 1943, the DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON published recordings of the Italian brands CETRA and FONIT in two series. I do not know whether German recordings were released in Italy in return. Here we hear a mould from the Italian company FONIT with the original number in the mirror.

The recording has a very flat frequency response with a maximum of 4.5 kHz and therefore does not correspond to the standard of the time.

Horst H. Lange lists the title with incorrect matrix number and dates to June 1939. Bruyninckx dated mx. 73821 to September 1940. Therefore "Virtuoso improvisations" probably date from autumn 1940. The record was still included in the 1943 annual catalog of the GERMAN GRAMMOPHON.
