16 Great Country & Western Songs Full Album ~ The York Brothers (1963)
#KingRecords often released material that had been on 78 in LP form in the 50's and 60's. Quite often the songs were overdubbed or had added reverb. A good number of these songs on this album, if not all, seem to have added reverb. It was issued in monaural, so I don't know what they were thinking by adding reverb. It's not overbearing and fairly tastefully done for the most part. This has restored from the original King LP with a significant amount of surface noise and rumble removed; you can still a faint rumble between tracks but it doesn't detract from the music.
