Tommy Dorsey is one of the most defining musicians of the 1940s along side Glenn Miller. Known mostly for his Orchestra. The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra was made in 1935 and started out on The Victor Records label. Around 1936 they started recording on both His Master's Voice and Victor. Around 1944 they started having many records on V-Disc as well as RCA Victor. In 1950 they started recording on Decca as well, and in 1954 they switched to Bell Records for a short time and eventually falling back on RCA Victor in 1956. As the 60s and 70s came, the group would re-release the same songs they had years prior on other labels and would eventually disband.

They had a Ton of hits including: Blue Moon in 1939, Do I Worry in 1941, I`ll Never Smile Again in 1940, Again in 1949, Alone in 1936, The Big Apple in 1937, Boogie Woogie in 1938, I Should Care in 1944, I`m Getting Sentimental Over You in 1946, It's Always You in 1943, More and More in 1945, and MANY others.
