I started off reminiscing on the after effect of releasing The Canadian Experience In #TheRant [0:00]. I freestyled a bit, expressing my skill and showing that I don't care about people’s opinions. I then went deeper in “#Imtheman” [2:04], and showed that I am in fact human, and the negative talk did hit me to some extent, but I bounced back and stood my ground to never let people’s talk affect my self confidence.
The next track “#SuckerforPain” [6:01] is then just a perfect follow-up song because I portray a crazy character who in fact wants all the nasty and shitty things the world has to offer me. However, deeper than that, I really just want a #GoodLife [9:38].
It's nice to talk about all these things, but I must really acknowledge the source of my strength, and the one through whom, I find peace, and #WeepNot; [13:29] my God.
Before I proceed, I should mention that The good life I wish for, I thought wouldn't be complete without the girl I love who’s been far away for quite some time, so I sang about her in #IMissYou [17:49].
I've rapped about some of the things I love. I should do more. Why not soccer? To use a metaphor, I think I’m tied between two girls, music and soccer, but I can probably do two of them as always cuz I’m a player and a #Champion [21:54] at it.
Now let’s get back to introspection. Do I really need to be dope to make it in music? I thought. I could sound like a hater, but I feel I know a couple so called “rappers” who can't effing rap to save their lives. I think it's time for me to set my perspective straight. My new goofy style and often misinterpreted #champion song seems now to be a source of problems in my romantic life. So my girl now too somehow feels ashamed of me in what I do or what? Just as I’d stated in #Imtheman? This is effed up, but we gotta work through this. I’ll fight for what I love. Times like this, I think I prefer to sing to express myself. I can't even think straight, but The Chainsmokers’ #Paris [29:57] just does a perfect job. I'd use that!
I'm broken. I'm down. I can't believe this, that even with all my effort, you still had the guts to do this to me? But damn, my tolerance level for infidelity is way too damn low.
